As part of the Greater Merseyside Safer Schools Project, Constable Lesley Sanderson has been appointed as Police Officer supporting Rainford High and De la Salle. She will spend 50% of each week in each school.
Constable Sanderson will be part of the Pastoral Team and have a base in the Inclusion Unit. Her support will include:
- Working with individual students on behaviour modification
- Patrolling/supervising the site, particularly before and after school, break and lunchtimes
- Taking part in the PHSE programme and cross-curricular projects, in particular into areas covering drug and alcohol awareness, crime and safety, citizenship and promotingpositive attitudes and behaviour.
- Taking part in out of school hours activities such as DofE
- Providing parental support and guidance
I am certain that Constable Sanderson will be a very valuable addition to our staff.
